“Do you despise the riches of His goodness, tolerance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? But because of your hardness and impenitent heart, you are storing up treasures of wrath against yourself on the day of wrath when the righteous judgment of God will be revealed,” Rom. 2:4-5
The message that Jesus has made everything clear to us humans through His death and resurrection is good news. The message that God is love and rich in grace gives hope and joy. The message that we can be forgiven, reconciled to God, have a relationship with Him and have eternal life, through Jesus, is a wonderful message. It was a very high price Jesus paid to do all this and much more possible and available to us.
Jesus took our punishment, what we deserved. Judgment and God’s wrath on sin fell on His beloved Son, Jesus, on the cross. Jesus rose from the dead on the third day and is the Savior. Jesus calls on all people to be reconciled to God. God is good and loving and He wants to be the Father of all people. A Daddy who loves, cares and helps. When one understands God’s goodness, it should lead to a response.
Everything is prepared and ready, but we need to respond before it is too late. When we have died, it’s too late. Then it’s closed. Then we can not come to God to receive grace. The human soul is eternal and if you are not reconciled to God through Jesus, you can not go to heaven. One day, God’s wrath will fall on those who have not responded to His warm, outstretched hand. For if we die in our sin, and all have sinned, having not let Jesus deliver us from sin and the judgment, we are lost.
God does not want any man to be lost, but without Jesus it is a fact. Then even God cannot help us because we have chosen to reject God’s plan of salvation – Jesus Christ, the Son of God. It is then closed and too late and you go lost forever to hell, for all eternity, this my friend no man wants to experience.
If you who are reading this have not yet opened your heart to Jesus, do so now. Let Jesus reconcile you to God, then you will be saved for eternity and experience what true love is. Put your faith and trust in Jesus and tell Him that you want to be a child of God today, because the door is still open and Jesus is calling you.
God bless you.
