“He went up into the mountain and called to Him those whom He desired, and they came to Him. He ordained twelve to be with Him, and to be sent out to preach, and to have authority to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons:” Mark 3:13-15

Jesus’ disciples had responded to the call to come to Jesus.  Every human being is called to come to Jesus.  In the encounter with Jesus, something happens.  The stories, both back in time, but also from the present, are many, about life-changing encounters between man and Jesus.

Jesus’ disciples were to be with Jesus first and foremost.  It starts with coming to Jesus.  But it continues with being and living with Jesus.  This applies to every human being.  Everyone is called to come to Jesus and to be with Him.  The Christian life is about a relationship between Jesus and man.  You do not have to go through life alone.  Jesus wants to be every person’s best friend, helping, leading and protecting.  Through Jesus you become reconciled to God and receive eternal life.

The walk with Jesus is about fellowship and it is exciting to walk with Him.  Jesus sent out His disciples to preach, heal, and deliver, and He does the same today.  Together with Jesus, you are also called to go out with the message of hope and with power from God.  People around the world are waiting to hear the good news of reconciliation, forgiveness, healing, deliverance, and restoration.  Jesus goes with you and He wants to touch people with His power through you.  This is a normal Christian life and a great privilege, to have fellowship with God and that Jesus touches people through His disciples today.

 God bless you.
