“For it pleased the Father that in Him all fullness should dwell, and to reconcile all things to Himself by Him, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him, I say—whether they are things in earth, or things in heaven.” Col. 1:19-20

Many people have a wrong idea about God, unfortunately some believers also have it.  We need to understand that when Jesus died on the cross around two thousand years ago, something historic happened.  Everything changed there and then.

Jesus is the Son of God, not just an ordinary person.  It was He who died on the cross for us.  Jesus took on Himself, our guilt and punishment.  God’s wrath on sin fell on His beloved Son.  Through Jesus, reconciliation and peace were created from the perspective of God.  Everything is now clear because of Jesus’ death and resurrection for us humans.

This means that God is not angry at all.  God is love and good and He wants every human being to now hear this good news so that they can respond.  The Bible portrays God as the Father, a good Father, who wants to be the Daddy of every human being.

What is needed, is to respond.  It becomes possible by hearing the gospel and then being able to turn to God and believe in Jesus.  If you do not respond, you are unfortunately excluding yourself from being reconciled to God.  This is deeply tragic and God does not want any man to miss what Jesus paid for, with His precious blood flowing on the cross.

God is happy and He calls on every human being to receive of His grace, love and forgiveness.  Jesus loves you, why not respond and also share with you His love for others?  It will result in joy spreading, both on earth and in heaven.

 God bless you.
