“Then she called the name of the Lord that spoke to her, “You are the God who sees,”…” Gen. 16:13
In society, GPS is used for location and navigation a lot today. It creates more control and a certain sense of security. Surveillance cameras are also widely used to monitor and create some security.
As believers, we can know that there are eyes, several eyes, that constantly see us. Our heavenly Father constantly sees us and watches over His children. Jesus, our shepherd, constantly sees us and is watching over us. The Holy Spirit constantly sees us and wants to help and guide us. God sees everything and all His children all the time. He sees you as a parent and your children. He sees you as old and who can feel alone. He sees you as a teenager and the challenges you face. God looks into the hearts, sees the thoughts and the future. God is love and good. And, there are more eyes that see us and that is the angels of God.
“for He shall give His angels charge over you to guard you in all your ways.” Ps. 91:11
God’s angels listen to God’s commands and do what God commands. In society, there are guards and people who monitor to try to maintain order. As believers, we can know that God’s angels have been commanded to keep us in all our ways. When you sleep, walk, run, sit, or drive, God’s angels are there to guard you. So remember, today there are many eyes that see you.
God bless you.
