“Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed them, and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd.” Luke 9:16

Believing in God means counting on God.  God is good and He both wants and can help us with our various challenges and needs.  Through faith we involve God in our lives.

Jesus faced a great challenge.  To feed several thousand people with just a few loaves and fish.  We can learn from Jesus.

He saw the needs and He saw the shortage.  But instead of just looking at the needs, all the hungry people and the shortage, all the food they did not have, He looked up to heaven.  We can see the needs and the challenges, we should not turn a blind eye to them, but we also need to look up.  Count on God.

Jesus blessed what He had.  Even if what you have is only small, bless what you have.  Do not despise the small but be grateful and positive.  See God’s ability and believe God that He can multiply and work miracles.  Faith is counting on God.

 God bless you.
