He who did not clench His fists but opened them and was nailed to a cross, He is a real man. He prayed for those who crucified Him. In his heart He loved His enemies, He hated or threatened not.
There and then, through His atoning sacrifice, He broke the power of darkness. The vicious circle is broken. Not through hatred, threats and violence but through love and reconciliation.
The Man rose from the dead on the third day and is Lord. Darkness flees from Him, it can not exist in His presence. The love is stronger than hatred and it drives away fear.
You can meet the Man today. Maybe you have bloody hands? There is forgiveness and grace that breaks the darkness over your life. Jesus is the Man, He reconciles man to God and He came to show what true masculinity is.
Masculinity is not violence, knives, weapons and body armor. If you want to see a real man, look at Jesus. You can meet Him today. Respond to Jesus’ love for you today and you will be free.
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me. For I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” Matt. 11:28-30
God bless you.
