“But by the grace of God I am what I am. And His grace toward me was not in vain. I labored more abundantly than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 1 Cor. 15:10
If you read the foremost revival history after Jesus’ ascension, the Acts of the Apostles, you see that the common theme was the preaching of the gospel.
Paul was one of the preachers and he was rooted in the revelation of God’s grace. And the grace of God made him active. To preach, to take up his cross as a follower of Jesus, to overcome fear, and so on, became possible through the grace of God.
“For if by one man’s trespass death reigned through him, then how much more will those who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.” Rom. 5:17
The abundant grace and the gift of righteousness are received by faith. And then something happens. Through Jesus we reign in life. We become active and can also fulfill the mission of preaching the gospel (Mark 16:15).
When the gospel is preached, Jesus becomes known. Here can all of us help. All believers can preach the good news about Jesus. There is grace available to every believer to testify about Jesus.
God bless you.
