“whom, having not seen, you love; and in whom, though you do not see Him now, you believe and you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory, receiving as the result of your faith the salvation of your souls.” 1 Peter 1:8-9

Jesus’ disciple Peter, inspired by the Holy Spirit, wrote to other believers who had not seen Jesus with their physical eyes.  He wrote about their common faith and love, which still applies to the believers today.  We love and believe in Jesus, even though we have not seen Him.  We believe in Him, because He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins.  We love Him, because He first loved us.

One day we will see our wonderful Savior.  But even now we rejoice over Him.  There is no one like Jesus.  He lives in the hearts of those who believe in Him.  We pray in His name and God hears us.

Some rejoice over things and perishable riches.  We rejoice, believe in and love Jesus, who is the Savior of our souls and gives us eternal life.

 God bless you.
