Once when I was in the town evangelizing, I approached two women sitting on a bench. I had gospel tracts with me and started a conversation. One of them was the one who talked a little more. She had a bit of an attitude and said I should come over to the dark side instead.
I talked to them for a few minutes about Jesus, the devil and the gospel. I did not raise my voice but spoke calmly and quietly. When I was about to leave, one of them thanked me for what I had said. And the other one, who had a bit of an attitude, said that when I spoke, it was like it was starting to burn in her.
When we preach and talk about Jesus, the Spirit of God works. We do not know what is going on in people’s lives, but God knows.
“For the word of God is alive, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebr. 4:12
God bless you.
