“and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to speak.” Acts 2:4

When the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit on Pentecost, they began to speak in other tongues.  They spoke languages they had not learned.  The disciples thus entered new areas, for them completely unknown.  It was the Spirit that enabled them to speak.  And it became a great blessing for their surroundings, though some made fun of them.

When we flow with what the Spirit inspires us, it also becomes a blessing.  But everyone will not understand and agree.  Some will also oppose you.  But go with the leading of the Spirit.

Maybe the Spirit leads you into new and unknown areas.  It may feel like a foreign language to you.  You do not understand anything, but it feels good on the inside and does not contradict the word of God.  Trust that God is with you and knows best.  Dare to act on what God puts in your heart.

And, if you have not yet been baptized with the Holy Spirit, then you can be that today.

“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?” Luke 11:13

 God bless you.
