That kind of inner gnawing or feeling of not being enough and an absence of real peace, it can leave you today.

There is good and happy news for you.  In fact, this news is the only thing that can give you real peace.

 Listen,

“Therefore, brothers, let it be known to you that through this Man (Jesus) forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by Him everyone who believes is justified from everything from which you could not be justified by the Law of Moses.” Acts 13:38-39

Because Jesus took our sins on Himself on the cross and died for us, we can be forgiven.  The forgiveness of sins comes through Jesus.  A evidence that the sin offering of Jesus is valid before God, is the resurrection of Jesus.  Jesus’ resurrection from the dead on the third day is a proof that the sacrifice of all our sins is acceptable to God.

Trying to please God through one’s own achievements and to feel inadequate, there is freedom from it.

What Jesus did for us on the cross is a work that gives us forgiveness for all our sin.  Jesus’ blood cleanses us from all sin.  His sacrifice is stronger than sin.  And He does not have to sacrifice Himself again and again, because it is completed.  The prize is paid and the victory is won.  There is only one thing you can do – believe.

We read “by Him everyone who believes is justified”. To be justified means to be declared free, accepted  and confirmed.  Jesus has opened the way into heaven to God, the Father, for us so that we can come.  When we believe in Jesus, we receive this gift.  You become a child of God and God becomes your Heavenly Father.  This gives you peace and joy.  You are accepted, not because you were so good, but because Jesus lived a perfect life here on earth and He took our penalty of sin on the cross.  What Jesus did for us is a foundation that you can live and die on.

This my friend, it gives you joy and gratitude.  When we see that we have already reached God, a transformed life comes as a result.  We are not trying to achieve anything, but through Jesus we have already obtained confirmation from God.  And as I said, it results in a transformed life.  A life that springs from peace and joy because of Jesus.

“Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ,” Acts 16:31

Lean on Jesus.  He is strong and loves when we put our whole trust in Him.  Then He will do what He is so professional at – forgiving, saving, comforting and helping.

“Come to Me (Jesus), all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me. For I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” Matt. 11:28-30

 God bless you.
