Maybe you are there that you are still fascinated and attracted by the shimmer of wealth.  As a little kid who is always dreaming about new toys, you are constantly craving for what the wealth can offer.  You dream and work hard to try to reach wealth’s wonderful affirmation of your life.  You are, like, in the dance around the golden calf.

Or maybe you are there that you already have everything, have done everything and been everywhere.  And you have realized that wealth does not satisfy in depth.  You have therefore become disillusioned and depressed.

Or maybe you are wealthy and you find yourself more and more disdainful of others.  The pride of wealth has begun to seize your soul.

“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” Matt. 16:26

How is your soul doing today?

Jesus is likened to a good shepherd.  He wants to lead and watch over you and your soul.  He loves you.  The world we live in is like a jungle.  Lots with different roads, offers and dead ends.  Neon signs, plastic smiles and temptations.  Dare to put your life in the safe hands of Jesus and trust that He leads you right.  He cares for you.

What can you give in exchange for your soul?

Everyone has sinned against God.  Small or large sins.  Wealth cannot redeem your immortal soul.  But the good news is that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, has redeemed us from our sins with His precious blood.  Silver or gold cannot redeem your soul but only the blood of Jesus.

Turn to God by putting your trust and faith in Jesus, who is the atoning sacrifice for your sins.

Wealth cannot reconcile you to God and give you entry into heaven, but only Jesus can.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Rom. 6:23

You can receive a gift from God today

Today you can receive a gift from God that is paid with the blood of Christ.  It is a gift worth more than all the riches of this world.  The gift is the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.  Today you can be reconciled to God through Jesus.  Through Jesus, you can receive grace and forgiveness.  It is the greatest wealth one can own and it is a secure foundation into eternity.  You receive that gift by putting your faith and trust in Jesus.  Tell Jesus that you want to be His follower.

“For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him (Jesus) will not be ashamed.” Rom. 10:11

 God bless you.
